About The Novel...

The Legend Of Evil is the first of Chris's Novels. Published in 2002, the book began as a concept in September 2000 from ideas Chris held for several years and completed 11 months later. Much of the influence for this novel comes from Chris experiences in Oklahoma where he grew up and spent the major part of his adult life.
The story is set in fictional 'Melville Texas', the home town of 'Provine University' (also fictional) where young doctoral candidate, Sarah Gately, is working on her doctorate degree in Meteorology and Atomospheric Sciences. She is conducting a storm 'Chase' one spring afternoon with a collegue when she chance encounters a man who, at first appearances, seems to be doing the same thing. As events progress, she finds out he is in fact conducting weather experiements but of a nature that if successful could change much of what people know and think about weather on the earth.

The influence of frequent severe weather occurrences in Oklahoma where Chris grew up has provided him with a lifetime of information to draw upon, having eyewitnessed several Tornadoes himself.
The story is filled with nail biting chases, intrigue and mystery with a very surprise ending.
Being set in modern day, the Novel is best described as a 'Nail biting techno thriller'.
Early reviewers are raving. Chris's Ideal Reader group has marked this Novel to be a hit with today's reading audience. The Novel is available in ebook and paperback formats. Get your copy here or at a major online bookseller.
